The Shift Talk Podcast

Hello again! This week on The Shift Talk Podcast, we're highlighting underrated films that we believe you should check out if you haven't. Then we delve into the 2014 masterpiece that is Whiplash, directed by Damien Chazelle. The film stars Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons and won 3 Oscars. What more do you need to hear? We hope you enjoy!

Hello friends! This week we're back with another jam-packed episode. We open up the pod by recasting The Wizard of Oz and appointing a new director. These picks were complete surprises to each host and the results were simply amazing. Afterwards we review (with spoilers) the 2012 horror hit Sinister, which was directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Ethan Hawke. We hope you enjoy!

Hello again! This week's edition of The Shift Talk Podcast covers new ground in the opening segment, where each host offers up a film they have not seen and the opposing hosts have to convince them to watch it. Which host hasn't seen The Shawshank Redemption? Listen to find out! We also review 10 Cloverfield Lane, and it was easily our most debated and divisive review yet. We hope you enjoy!

Hello again! This week we're changing things up slightly. Instead of Hot Takes, we each suggest a change in either the cast or director's chair for a film with the intent on improving the film as a whole. The film in question? Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. We figured it would be a great choice to start with seeing as it's... well... an imperfect film to say the least.

Hot takes on The Shining, Star Wars, and The Dark Knight Trilogy. Not enough for you? Don't worry, we also do a dive into David Fincher's The Social Network. Any of that sound interesting? We thought so too! Enjoy this week's show!

Spoilers will be frequent! We hope you enjoy the show this week!
