Up until a few months ago, Amanda Siebert was the cannabis editor at west coast newspaper, The Georgia Straight.  One of the first newspapers in the country to appoint a journalist to specifically cover cannabis. 

While writing for the Straight about cannabis, Amanda also started penning her first book, called "The Little Book of Cannabis: How marijuana can improve your life".  It's now available online and in stores, and she joined the Shift for a chat.

Canadian postal workers could start rotating strikes as early as Monday.  At issue with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are concerns around health and safety measures, job security and forced overtime.  Some are suggesting that Canada Post should be sold off.
