The Shining Wizards

From Monroe, NJ, on October 15, 2016, the Wizards present the Legends of the Ring fan convention! Kevin, Matt, and Tony bring you highlights and interviews with NXT’s Chris Payne, Fallah Bahh, the Blue Meanie, Sam Houston, Shawn Donovan, JTG, Joel Gertner, Santino Marella, DJ Z and Jessie Godderz from the Bro-Mans, Bruce Prichard, Fred Ottman, Katie Lea, and Matt Tremont.

WrestlePro Champion Bobby Wayward joins the boys in studio to talk about his early fandom of wrestling, his time training in MMA, and what brought him into the world of wrestling.

Back to kick off year six, the boys do a Friday Night show from Studio A. They delve into the insanity of Shelly Duvall, the hotness and drug problems of Stephanie Tanner, the mystery of Jim Henson’s death, the identity of Big Al, a progeria reality show, riding on fairies, and much more. And wrestling, can’t forget the wrestling.

The Wizards celebrated their Fifth Anniversary in front of a LIVE crowd at Egan’s in West Orange, New Jersey. People from far and wide came to join in the festivities. There were plenty of guest appearances, lots of under-the-bus time, drinks, challenges, trivia, stand-up comedy, and more!

Next week is the official 5th Anniversary Celebration for the boys, but on this night, two days shy of the night that started it all five years ago, Tony, Eddie, and Matt kick it real old school with plenty of wrestling talk. Lots of great stories and jokes, plus anger at unexpected sources, and did Goldberg destroy Brock Lesnar, or what? There’s fallout from Survivor Series, Tony bores everyone with...

Do the boys know the Survivor Series teams that will be fighting for BRAND SUPREMACY? Is it almost Vader’s Time? Joey Styles is being shunned for making a joke? All this and plenty more. The boys contemplate a Christmas album. There’s sales on everything, according to Bargain Dan. The greatest women promo all time. AND MORE!

Election Day is here! The boys are hosting the vote for Wrestling President 2016, and the nominees are James Ellsworth (represented by Eddie), Broken Matt Hardy (Kevin), Jim Cornette (Tony), and Shawn Michaels (Matt). There’s accusations of cheating, plenty of in-fighting, and YOUR VOTES! Plus, WWE STOLE AN IDEA FROM THE WIZARDS? Listen to the audio and judge for yourself. We even sing songs about Kevin’s love for Mike Johnson!

Matt, Kevin and Eddie are in Studio B cause Tony went to Smackdown in Newark. We trash England for no good reason, then talk about Impact Wrestling. This leads to Blandicorn, which you have to hear to believe. Follow it up with some Hell in a Cell Talk, Monday Night Raw, and answer your questions. We also make a pretty bad ass announcement about our 5 Year Anniversary.

Matt, Kevin, and Tony got together on the night before Legends of the Ring on October 14, 2016, for dinner at Yogi’s All-American Grill & Sports Bar in Monroe, NJ. Just like last time, there’s some shop talk, but it’s lots of drunken banter and jokes. Plus, Oso Blanco himself, Phil Ditto, joins the boys and reveals how to properly say his last name.

Matt joins Tony in Studio A for some wrestling talk. First they discuss Halloween wrestling costumes, then it’s an all-out TNA Impact discussion! There’s plenty of Raw and Smackdown talk as well, but most of it is how great Chris Jericho is and how bad the Hell in a Cell match is nothing but a shoehorning into unnecessary matches. After some news and notes, Eddie joins the show for a...
