Sisterhood is both the vault for the treasure we keep and a part of the treasure itself. We each, individually, have the power to augment the light that women are to the world, and when we choose, purposefully to do so, we find we are also intensifying the light that is in the world; we brighten up the world, we reduce the darkness, we increase the good.

And that is the whole purpose, the sole purpose. That is the soul’s purpose.

Do yourself the honour of acknowledging the precious gold that is you and watch your life light up. When you do that, when you give yourself full permission to work your unique magic in the world, you become fierce and vulnerable, unstoppable and invincible. No darkness can hold you. No ceiling can arrest your rise.

Human beings are kind of like diamonds. We have facets and sides and personality traits that are so many and varied that we just don’t know them all, but all the things we like and don’t like, all the things we tell ourselves that we can and cannot do,  all our many and varied capabilities and our potential are determined by these - are reflections of these facets of ourselves

Last month in Circle, the theme was Feminine Alchemy. Listen as Shirley defines Feminine Alchemy and identifies the particular brand of Feminine Alchemy practiced by five of the most fascinating women in the world.

No matter how you say it, it fits. Women can. Women can as in, women have the capacity to do…pretty much anything women want. There is, objectively speaking – and intellectually, mentally, professionally, emotionally and so on – nothing that is beyond the capacity of women, just because we happen to be women. Women have every faculty that human beings have – for better and for worse.

Women have the capacity – so women can, but women are often not allowed, actually, women are very often, deliberately prevented from doing things – because men have perpetuated the idea that women do not have the ability – and so we could go around and around – but obviously the foundational question is whether women could, if given the opportunity. And that is the aspect of the question which we are going to consider and debunk here.

Women can!

Women always could.

Except that for thousands of years, women have been prevented – an incalculable loss for all of humanity.

So we are producing blogs, podcasts and videos, especially for you every week, showing women doing everything that human beings do – and doing them as well as they could possibly be done.

Demonstrating beyond a shadow of a doubt that of course women can.
