What is a soulmate?? In this episode I dive into what this could actually mean and how to navigate this situation in life.
Detachment isn't pretending you don't care. It's learning to care without trying to control the person, the timing, or the outcome. It's the ability to say I know what I want, but I don't have to abandon myself trying to make it happen.
In this episode I talk about becoming engaged with your own life that love is no longer the missing piece. It becomes another beautiful piece. This does not mean you stop wanting a partner, it means you stop putting your life on hold. ENJOY!!
Surrender is one of those words that sound painful until you actually have to do it. Because surrender means admitting you do not know or have control over the outcome of your future. But remember, this does not mean you are giving up!
There is a kind of grieving we don't talk about enough: grieving something that never happened. Maybe you thought you'd be married by now; maybe you thought you'd grow old with someone; maybe you thought you'd have a completely different life at this age. But nobody died; there's no funeral, but something still feels lost. This is grieving an expectation.
In this episode, I discuss one of the hardest relationships to get over...the relationship that never happened. The almost relationship, the situationship, the person who gave you just enough to imagine a future but never actually built one. These ones can hurt the most.
You don't have to stop believing in love to stop chasing the fantasy. Surrender is not settling. It's releasing the timeline, the imagined person, the outcome, and the belief that your life can't be complet until love arrives.
