I answer the question "What do the words in The Book say?" for the first Letter of John, chapter 2. This is a relatively long chapter, so I've divided it into two parts. This is the first part.

This show is not intended to preach to, or convert anyone. I am simply intending to answer the question "What do the words in the book say?" I begin covering the first letter of John, sometimes called The Book of John, or John I. This should not be confused with the gospel of John. This first chapter is extremely short, so I spend most of the show introducing the book, and at the end I take a minute to let my audience know that the show is now available on a variety of new formats, including: itunes, Google Play Music, Stitcher, Tune In, and of course Soundcloud. I also do a slideshow of my amateur nature photography to accompany the show on YouTube.

I put the fourth chapter of The General Epistle of James, sometimes also called 'The Book of James' into plain language. I attempt to avoid preaching, and just focus on doing a sort of 'Cliff Notes' of the book. If it sounds preachy sometimes, it is The Bible, so it may sound that way at times.
