After two weeks off, Alex returns, already exhausted, and talks about the news (maybe? I blacked out for like 20 min idk man sorry about this one), impending threats to freedom of speech, gas prices, Israel, Michelle Obama quotes, and (probably) so much more.

Alex returns to rant about abstinence, autocrats, and automation in the workplace (and how it's trying to take the humans out of humans before taking the humans out of the workplace altogether).

The White House Correspondents Dinner went south really fast yesterday, and somehow an attempt at the President's life is being used to justify lifting the red tape around the new White House ballroom (by the President). Alex discusses that (and why this ballroom is so important to him), theorizes about whether or not the biggest CEOs have AI psychosis, and roasts both sides of the political aisle for peddling nonsense and manipulating narratives to gain votes.

This is truly getting exhausting. It would be wonderful if the government could maybe give us a day off from the madness. Trump did a lot, and Alex cannot pinpoint a single thing he's done to rant about which becomes a rant in itself about news fatigue. Pete Hegseth accidentally quoted Pulp Fiction while thinking he was quoting a Bible verse. CEOs (especially healthcare ones) are unethical just for existing, and I'll prove it to you with philosophy, here.
