Graig Kriendler is an artist and baseball fan, to say the very least. He has undertaken the enourmous task of bringing baseballs legends such as Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Ty Cobb, and many others, back to life...in art form. Graig, named after a former MLBer, creates real lifelike color images from black and white photos. His world makes you feel like you’re there, you can smell the grass, eat the peanuts, hear the crowd noise, he brings the images, the players, and the memories back to life.
In this very special episode, I will talk to Graig about this process, how it started, and where he goes from here, as well as talking about how he got his name.
