When you have an anointing from God, there will be side effects. It may not be what you expect, but the anointing will enable and empower you to do things that would not be possible without God’s help or strength. We see this when David was anointed as the future King of Israel. When David was first anointed, he didn’t immediately become King. Still, the anointing empowered him to do things that would prepare him for his future role as King. And the same applies to us today. God’s anointing will empower us to do things for His glory.
