perfectionism is something that i struggled with for a while. for the longest, i masked this truth with being super passionate or wanting only the best. and a whole lot of other things i would tell myself. while being the best version of myself is what i'll always strive for, aiming for "perfection" never really did serve me. i was so focused on perfection that it ignited so many negative behaviors within my life. negative self-talk. simply not showing up at all. adopting a lack mindset. the list goes on and on and on. perfectionism can be a challenging thing to escape but if i did it (and still currently doing so), so can you. in this episode, i share some of the side effects of perfectionism that i noticed within myself as well as some habits i incorporated into my life to escape the toxic energy that is perfectionism.
