The SWPL is in full swing, and there’s some surprise highs and lows already showing up. Rangers have come out swinging this season, and despite losing out on Europa League football in the week, they punished Celtic at their last meeting and remain unbeaten in the SWPL. We caught up with Rangers' full back Kirsty Smith after training one day to find out all about her career, from working under Casey Stoney at Manchester United, to her return to playing in the SWPL. 

And ICYMI, we are hosting a watch party in partnership with the SFA for the away leg of Scotland’s World Cup Qualifier against Serbia, on Friday 9th October at Woody’s in Glasgow. WE'RE TWO! Happy birthday to us! And what better way to celebrate two years of the podcast than with an absolute Scottish footballing legend!

There's only a few weeks left of the season and our guest this episode has had one of the busiest schedules in the league. Lee Gibson, Glasgow City goalkeeper and Scotland international has had an incredible year so far, from picking up their first piece of silverware for the season with Glasgow City at the Sky Sports Cup Final, to being a part of the squad for Scotland that currently sees them sitting top of their World Cup qualifying group. There's MUCH to discuss.

In this episode we also catch up on the latest in the Scottish Cup, as well as what our predictions are for the final weeks of the season... Are we in for a helicopter sunday on the final day? Who is in the danger zone and might be facing relegation? And in SWPL2 how the title race there is drawing closer as Spartans are chasing Kilmarnock's tail!

Scotland’s World Cup Qualifying campaign kicks off tonight taking on Luxembourg before playing the team again at home at Hampden on 7th March. We were delighted to catch up with the Scotland head coach Melissa Andreatta to find out more about her ambitions for the national team, what led her to taking up a career in coaching, and how she’s settling into life in Scotland.

We also get you up to speed on the upcoming Cup games, and of course, the lowdown post split with how the SWPL table is looking, what teams are risking relegation and what teams to watch from SWPL 2.

After a break we are finally back! And there is a lot to discuss. In this episode we are delighted to catch up with Montrose striker Kaela McDonald-Nguah to find out more about her career from answering an advert in the Celtic Annual one Christmas as a wee girl to winning Player of the Month in the SWPL in December. We chat about her incredible career and how she juggles all of this whilst working full time as an educator delivering workshops across the country with Show Racism the Red Card Scotland. It’s Christmas! And to round out the year, we were delighted to sit down with Rangers striker and SWPL top goal scorer, Katie Wilkinson, to find out more about her career, how the move to Rangers came about, and most importantly, what fuels all them goals!

It might be the off season, but that hasn’t stopped us pinning down an absolute legend of the game for a catch up. Following the announcement that she is hanging up her boots, we were delighted to sit down with Rangers and Scotland striker Jane Ross to reflect on her career, from growing up on the Isle of Bute to the header that secured Scotland’s place in their first ever World Cup. An absolute legend of the game who has had an incredible track record for scoring huge goals for every team she’s been a part of, she leaves the game holding the spot as Scotland’s 2nd top goal scorer of all time! 

In this episode we also catch up with Motherwell and Scotland International physiotherapist, Heather Bennett aka Glasgow Physiotherapy and Performance Centre, to find out more about the work she does in preventing injuries through busy SWPL schedules and international camps, as well as juggling her own business in Glasgow at the same time!
