The world we live in is not all nice. There is pain, suffering, fear, suffering. It won’t always be like this. Isaiah 35 3-6 tells us that there is a time coming when

God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.

Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy.

But it’s not like that yet. There is a tension. Something needs to change.

Adam lead us through Mark 7 31-37, showing how Jesus felt this tension too. Jesus sighed deeply before miraculously healing the speechless man. Jesus is like that. He feels our pain, and He’s able to intervene.
