Maurice Fitz AKA The long Acre (@the_long_acre), our favourite rabble-rousing farmer with a knack for stirring the pot, returns to The James Conway Experience! Maurice was the first guest we had on the show.

Expect sharp wit, unfiltered yarns, and a taste of rural rebellion.

Paul Byrne, Martin O'Tool, and PJ Sweeney, collectively known as the Strokestown 3, are currently wrongfully imprisoned in Ireland. These individuals have been caught in a legal web that lacks transparency and fairness. They went through a judicial process riddled with inconsistencies and potential biases, raising critical questions about their guilt.

Picture this: a podcast so cursed by tech gremlins it nearly became a silent film. Our mics crackled like a bowl of Rice Krispies on steroids, our cameras glitched like a disco ball in a power surge and our recording software decided it was time for an impromptu nap.
But did we throw in the towel? Nope. With the grit of a caffeine-fueled squirrel, we wrangled our two guests—bless their patient souls—and stitched together a gloriously imperfect episode. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s proof that sometimes the best can come from the chaos you refuse to let win.
Join us for a lively chat with Martin Murphy and Anthony Casey—old comrades from our Irish Freedom Party days. James has traded the political battlefield for a mic, but Martin and Anthony are charging back into the fray with their shiny new Ireland First Party.
They’re here to spill the tea on their grand plans to save Ireland from impending doom—because who doesn’t love a good heroic saga? Expect sharp insights, a few laughs, and maybe a nostalgic nod to the days when we all thought we could change the world over a pint. Hit play and see if they’ve still got the fire—or if James is just here to stir the pot!
Get ready for another ride with The James Conway Experience! This time, we’ve roped in the brother of our old mate David Harrington from Eire Haulage—you know, the legend who made one of our most-watched episodes a proper riot.
Hailing from the wilds of Kerry, our latest guest is no stranger to fame, thanks to his TikTok antics. He’s a sheep farmer by day, timber-harvesting lumberjack by… well, whenever he fancies! Expect tales woolier than his flock and banter sharper than his saws chain! Hit play— this one’s a shear delight!

In part one of this weeks podcast episode of The James Conway Experience, James sits down with Tom Moran, a proud Westport native with a life full of stories.
In Part 2 Of The Show - Shovels, Shamans, and a Mural: West Sligo’s Finest Day Out
Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/124816610 (From 2pm Friday) or subscribe on Spotify.
A cracking day of skills and knowledge sharing at James Conway’s farm in West Sligo, where the sun shone brighter than Vincent the Shaman’s aura on March 15, 2025! About 40 eager folks rolled up their sleeves, swapped stories, and got stuck into planting onions, cabbage, and potatoes—because nothing says 'fun' like a bit of dirt under your nails.
The highlight? A tree-planting ceremony led by the show’s very own spiritual guru, Vincent, who probably whispered sweet nothings to the saplings as they went into the ground.
About Tom Moran
Educated at the local Christian Brothers school, Tom studied at Kevin Street Technical College in Dublin and trained as an aviation engineer at the Polytechnic in North London.
His career spanned continents—from Africa to the Middle East—before he returned home, dedicating 30 years to the control tower at Shannon Airport. A lifelong worker, Tom has seen inequality rise and the quality of life for working people crumble, igniting his drive for change.
A 2016 election candidate for People Before Profit, Tom draws inspiration from the legendary Michael Davitt, believing that Davitt’s ways of organizing and empowering people in the past can light the way forward today. For Tom, people power isn’t just a slogan—it’s a real, living force.
In this interview, James explores Tom’s global experiences, his fight for justice, and his conviction that ordinary people can reclaim their future. Plus, we unveil a mural of Tom on the wall of James’ farm, honoring his steadfast moral vision. Expect raw honesty, big ideas, and James’ electric energy. Listen now on Spotify or watch the full video on YouTube—this is one you can’t miss!"
