There were 400 "silent" years between Malachi, the last book of the Old Testament, and The Gospels. What were some of the significant transitions that occurred before the Messiah entered the scene?
It is in the midst of these changing times the Messiah comes onto the scene. When the world was ready to embrace its own ways, thinking it was progressing, God broke through to make sure the faithful were not led astray by man's thinking and wisdom, which comes to nothing.
When God became man it was an encounter like no other, shattering all man's glory in order to give mankind real hope!
