4/30/25 - St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, a humble nun from Poland, was chosen by Christ to be the Apostle of Divine Mercy. Through her diary, Divine Mercy in My Soul, she recorded extraordinary revelations in which Jesus urged the world to turn to His mercy. He revealed to her the image of Divine Mercy, the Chaplet, and the institution of Divine Mercy Sunday, saying, 'I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls' (Diary, 699). Despite intense physical suffering and spiritual trials, Faustina remained faithful to her mission. Her writings offer a window into a soul completely surrendered to God's will, and her legacy continues to inspire a deeper trust in Christ's mercy.

4/29/25 - Bishop Joseph Strickland shares his thoughts on the death of Pope Francis and the spiritual and institutional crossroads now facing the Catholic Church. 5/1/25 - Of all the theological errors commonly held today, the most popular is surely the denial of the doctrine of hell. Even self-described Christians question whether God would consign anyone to hell. Msgr. Pope explains this false perception: "If it exists at all, it is largely empty, except perhaps for a few serial killers or genocidal maniacs like Hitler." People who adopt this belief are ignoring Jesus's teachings that instruct the exact opposite. In The Hell There Is, Msgr. Pope defends the doctrine of hell against doubters and skeptics. The reader will learn how God has largely been refashioned and trivialized in much of modern thinking. The God of Scripture has been replaced by the "Jesus I know," who would never impose demands on anyone. As in the past, those nowadays who invent their own god engage in idolatry. By denying the existence of hell, they choose a false god who is indifferent to their spiritual condition over the true God who makes demands on those He desires to save.
