The Simple Truth

Yes! God is the true Creator and rightful owner of everything! But through Adam’s fall, sin opened the door for Satan to gain influence here on Earth. Pastor Dion reminds you today that God’s sovereignty has never been lost, and His power remains unmatched. And while the enemy may act like the ruler, he is NOT the true owner. God is still on the throne, and His plans will ultimately prevail. Don’t be discouraged by what looks out of order or unjust, but stand firm in faith, knowing Who truly holds authority.

Paul chose not to dwell too much on describing heaven. Maybe he understood that focusing too much on what’s ahead can distract us from what God has called us to do right now. Today, Pastor Dion teaches that your calling is not just to long for heaven, but to help lead others there. You are here for a purpose, living each day as a vessel of God’s love and truth. There is work to be done, people to reach, and lives to impact. Be mindful, be faithful, and stay grounded in your responsibilities.

God calls us to overcome, to remain faithful, and to live with eternity in view. A day is coming when the burdens of this world will fall away, and we will be made new. No more striving, no more exhaustion, no more dependence on the things that sustain us now. Pastor Dion reminds you today that what awaits you in Christ is far greater than anything you cling to in this life. Your future is secure, anchored in the One who reigns forever, so lift your eyes from the temporary to the eternal.

John, the beloved disciple, is given a glimpse beyond time…seeing Christ not only as he once knew Him, but as He truly is. He remembers Jesus as: the teacher, the miracle worker, the suffering servant. But now the veil is lifted, and Jesus stands in glory. John begins to understand that Christ is not only the past Savior, but the present Lord and the coming King. Today, Pastor Dion tells you that Jesus is still speaking to His church. This is the unveiling of who God truly is: eternal, sovereign, and worthy of all praise.

Holiness is a word that we often hear, but sometimes misunderstand…It doesn’t mean perfection; it means being set apart. In a world that constantly pulls for our attention, our time, and our loyalty, holiness declares a FIRM boundary. Pastor Dion teaches you today that as a Christian, you are chosen, called, and reserved for a purpose that matters…and that purpose is to live like you belong to the One who saved you. It’s not about getting everything right, but about staying devoted in your heart.

God sees and acknowledges our works, our struggles, and our perseverance, but He also calls us out when we’ve grown complacent. Our faith isn’t meant to sit still. A thriving church isn’t just about belief… It’s living that belief out loud and on purpose. Today, Pastor Dion reminds you that it’s time to shake off spiritual laziness. That means serving where you can, giving what you have, and showing up with willing hands and an open heart. A church that’s moving is a church that’s ALIVE.

When Jesus corrects and instructs, He does so out of deep love. He’s not eager to judge people as failures, as some of us might fear. Instead, He approaches His people with patience, mercy, and a desire to restore. Today, Pastor Dion tells you that Christ comes to His church in love, seeking to guide, rather than tear down. He longs for His church to be a safe place, alive and growing in truth and grace. So that you can receive His guidance with an open heart, knowing it flows from His unfailing love.

What a powerful promise spoken by Jesus Christ. And in these words, we don’t just hear assurance, but divine intention and purpose. The church was always on God’s mind and heart. Pastor Dion reminds you today that the church is a living body, made up of believers - a community formed by faith, united in truth, and grounded in God’s love. It’s made up of people who know Him personally and reflect Him daily. You are called not just to attend church, but to belong and to become more like Jesus.

Jesus is the active head of the church, deeply involved in the lives of His people, because redemption is not just a one-time event, but an ongoing relationship. Christ continues His work in us, shaping and refining us daily. Pastor Dion reminds you today that Jesus is committed to maintaining your spiritual life, keeping you strong and faithful. Just as a loving shepherd tends to his flock, Christ tends to His church. And His desire is to keep you in good working order, growing in faith and obedience.
