Have you ever thought about what it would take to be a digital nomad? That's someone who's location independent, leaving their home behind and exploring the world with a laptop, a bit of luggage, and an adventurous spirit. "Living a lightweight life," as my dear friends would say.
My special guest today is Lis Hubert and she's simplifying how to become a digital nomad… specifically, what it really takes to make this lifestyle work. Her story is fascinating and seeing how this choice has helped her boost her self-confidence and the innate feeling that she could accomplish anything in the world is incredibly inspiring. She peels back the curtain and shows us how it really works.

Do you have any limiting self-beliefs that are holding you back and are ready to squash? I've got one that I'm actively working on right now, in my own life: "Run faster, Mary!!" Here's what this thing actually means to me.
I'm sure you've heard me mention this phrase quite a few times on The Simplifiers Podcast or maybe you've heard me say it while speaking onstage at an event:
"Run faster, Mary!!"It's one of those stories that happened and got rooted way, way, way down inside me when I was a little girl and I'm (slowly) working to release that anchor now.
Whatever anchors you've got in your mind right now, good or bad, just take a moment to review them. Ask yourself:
Set a 7-minute timer, make a soothing cup of tea and give yourself space to ponder this stuff. Write it out. You might be surprised at what comes up.
You can do this, I believe in you.
It's time to SIMPLIFY.

So… a quick update on my lost red wallet saga! If you listened to my recent episode on "How to not lose your ISH when you lose your ISH," then you know that I recently lost my red wallet… it literally fell out of my purse while I was running across town to catch a train. WOOF! What a nightmare!!
Well, here's the update on this lost red wallet saga… my goodness, the plot thickened!Click on the show notes to see the full details of what the red wallet looks like, the exact path I ran on February 7th in the city centre of Nottingham and the narrow 25 minute window where I lost it and how to get in contact with me to return it for the reward.
There's one ID card in there that's the MOST important thing I'm hoping to get back… and a picture of my kids when they were babies, too.
Thank you so much for helping me spread the word!

In a world that feels a bit broken at times and totally in a rush, what is the best way to be a kind person (more often than not)?
Great question. If you've ever read the book, "A Course in Miracles" written by Helen Schucman, you know that kindness is key to live a life full of Love and not one dictated by Fear. But well, sometimes it's easier said than done, right?
Earlier this week, I spoke with Jess Weiner all about how to create social change & a sense of 'belonging' in your work and that reminded me of how critically important kindness is in all of this.
Kindness builds bridges and forges stronger relationships built on trust and integrity. How else was Jess able to help shift global brands like Mattel's Barbie to see that little girls (and their moms) wanted toys that better reflect who they are and what they want to be when they grow up?
Also, kindness requires patience and really good listening skills, as well… asking the open ended questions that get people talking, thinking, and creating a new reality for themselves and the world around us. Social change doesn't happen overnight.
Trust and safety (to change) is created through a thousand little moments where your kindness helps others see it's safe to break down their walls, brick by brick… and step into the Light. Therefore, how do we cultivate more kindness in our lives?
I think it starts inside us, individually. Here are 3 simple things to consider in order to be a kind person (more often than not) in life: • be the ripple • don't take anything personally • look for the "white trucks"
You can do this, I believe in you. It's time to SIMPLIFY.
