This week marks two years of podcasting and I am feeling great to be able to find a medium that comes so natural to me. I spoke on my purpose, milestones, and then highlighted three of my best shows this year. I had to mention what is to come in my 3rd year of podcasting, new format, new topics, new guest, still Simply King (I do not own the rights to music used)

This week was a pleasant surprise, future notable Clark Atlanta Alum and Stand-Up Comedian Terrance White (@twhite_123) joined me. We discussed the interest of admission to the illustrious CAU by the super talented artist Chance the Rapper, White's inspirations and what led him to pursue Comedy. This week I featured an upcoming artist by the name of Malik Curtis better know as Juice Lord, native to St. Paul, MN. I met him while he was in high school and he has grown in short time to a artist with great range. We spoke about hiphop, blackness in the Midwest and his inspirations. This week I feature a Nigerian writer, photographer, journalist,& published author Edikan Hanson, (A-Dee-Can). We unpacked several commonalities of being African and being African American how we are connected in complexion and a global popular culture, in contrast to our cultural views and identities. She shared her inspirations to create as well as the dating culture in Nigeria. This week I had no choice but to theme my episode around one of the most popular shows on television. I unpacked the complexity of emotions post breakup, predictions of the season, and the importance of supporting artist like Issa Rae, when she wins we all win... This week is a heavy one, I asked the talented artist, poet, and life learner Vei to assist me with this very crucial topic. Self Love is something we all need to make habit in our lives, sadly we all don't or we are still trying to discover how to love ourselves. Vei and I dove deep into this topic speaking on the intricate era of your 20 somethings down to Loving someone and growing simultaneously. This is a powerful episode I advise you listen closely.
