Romans 8:13

When the life of a young man or woman comes to a sudden and tragic end, we often say that he or she suffered an untimely end. The Bible issues a dire warning to Christians that persisting in sin may result in our untimely death. In some instances, God brings about premature physical death as the ultimate chastisement upon wayward believers. Living after the flesh will result in death, but we will live if we learn how to mortify the deeds of our sinful flesh.
