Here comes the General Election! It looks like Singaporeans will be heading to the polls on the 10th of July to vote for a new government. Joel and Nichole speak with Professor Walid Jumblatt Bin Abdullah from NTU's school of Public Policy and Global Affairs about how the coronavirus pandemic is going to affect this election, and how first-time voters can prepare themselves to responsibly exercise their vote.

In the past couple of weeks, widespread protests have erupted in the US following the killing of African-american man George Floyd. It’s brought up the racial inequities that black people face in America and has sparked an anti-racism movement all around the world. While the racism that black people face in America cannot be directly appropriated in the Singaporean context, racism on our shores also cannot be ignored. This week, Joel and Nichole have brought along some friends to have a conversation about race and living as a racial minority in Singapore.
