This episode is definitely the most vulnerable I've shared. I recently had to face some words and actions that hurt someone I love, and I've been learning what it looks like to bring that pain, my mistakes, and my repentance to Christ.
I'm sharing what I'm learning about repentance, grace, and the freedom that comes when we stop seeing ourselves as either “good” or “bad” and start remembering that two things can be true at once.
I can have something to change AND God can still love me.
I can be sorry AND I don't have to hate myself.
I can be imperfect AND still be growing.
If you've ever messed up, hurt someone, or struggled to forgive yourself, I hope you'll sit with me in this one.
Welcome to the Sisterhood! In this episode, I’m sharing why I felt called to change the name of this podcast and what I hope this new Sisterhood can become.
We’re talking about belonging, becoming, believing, and being brave—and my dream of creating a community of women who truly show up for one another, cheer each other on, grow closer to Christ together, and make the world a little lighter through love.
You belong here, sister. Come join us.
It can be easy to be grateful when life is going well. Today we talk about how powerful it is to find gratitude when things are feeling tough.
As I’m creating this episode, my family has been evacuated because of a wildfire, my husband has been gone through the night helping with work, and it hasn't felt easy.
And yet, writing this episode reminded me of something I really needed to remember:
Gratitude isn't just for the good days. Sometimes it's what helps us through the hard ones.
Have you ever noticed how two people can experience very similar lives, yet one seems genuinely joyful while the other always feels disappointed?
I spend a lot of time thinking about why that is.
In this episode, we’re talking about the stories we tell ourselves, what we choose to notice, and how gratitude can actually change the way we experience our lives—without pretending the hard things aren't hard.
Because the dishes are still there and so is the grief, stress, disappointment, and hard seasons of life.
But there's still good:
The husband who keeps showing up.
A little boy who smiles anyway.
The sunset.
A friend who checks in.
The prayer you almost forgot you prayed.
The tiny tender mercies we might have missed if we weren't looking for them.
Happiness doesn't actually come from finally getting everything we've been asking for, it begins in finally seeing everything we've already been given.
If you're walking through a hard chapter right now, I hope this episode reminds you that you don't have to choose between acknowledging the hard and seeing that there is also still good, both can be true.
Have you ever been surrounded by people you love and somehow still felt… lonely?
That was me this week.
And honestly, I didn’t really expect it. I have people I love deeply. I have a beautiful family, amazing friends, and so many people in my life who care about me. So why did I feel so unseen?
As I sat with that question, I realized there was something underneath it I hadn’t really let anyone see.
In this episode I share my story and testimony of who does see me and you.
So, if you’ve also ever wondered, “But who sees me?” — this one is for you.
Because friend, I think sometimes we just need the reminder:
God sees you. He knows what you’re carrying, and you have never been invisible to Him.
So many of us spend our lives chasing the most ideal version of ourselves, forgetting that "becoming her,' has been happening all along.
In this episode, we talk about who "her" really is, how to gain clarity on the person you want to become, and how faith, mindset, and intentional action can help you become her.
Thanks for joining me today, I am so happy you are here!
In today’s episode, we are talking about God—who He really is, how our thoughts about Him shape our relationship with Him, and how we can feel closer to Him in our everyday lives.
I open up about my own journey with prayer and learning to see God not as distant or disappointed, but as a loving Father.
Whether you currently feel connected to God or distant from Him, I hope this episode leaves you feeling more loved, understood, and hopeful because becoming her, is only possible with—and because of—Him.
When you have it mostly together on the outside but inside you feel like life is driving you, become anchored.
Join me in this episode as we discuss how, let's go!
