“As I venture back into the dark cavities of my past, my inner child resists and clings to my waist. No not there, they hurt me. Secrets not held with love and grace. Competition, envy, rage, hurt smeared through our adolescent souls. Scapegoating and attacking someone you’d call best friends, to not being sure who was alliance or foe. Chaos and drama because our homes mirrored our brokenness. No inkling of any idea what safety and connection felt like. And our mothers showed gossip as a ritual to reduce sisters to pin against one another.”-Me

This episode we go into the Sisterhood Wound which derives from the Mother Wound. I share my experiences in childhood and what friendships were like and what I found sisterhood can be later on in adulthood. Going from the mean-girl era to sacred sisterhood, understanding, and safety is what we are being guided towards in this new day and age. We can only meet people with where we have gone ourselves. I have heard many women not feeling like they can trust other women because of the pain they’ve experienced in their past with the backstabbing, gossiping, competition, and so on with the toxic masculine patriarchy we have been raised in. When we heal our wounds, we find other like-minded individuals and create new relationships that honor one another instead of separate and insecure. I invite you to this new belief of sisterhood, with hand in hand, honoring one another, holding that safe space, and the magic it can produce in our healings.
