Doug Knight draws and writes independent comic books. His company Cross Eye Comics produces really inspiring comic series for everyone. I discovered Doug's work through a punk/ska influenced anthology called Apollo City. You can pick up his work in the US from Lesser Known Comics. Adam is the co-host of In Defense of Ska Podcast with his buddy, Aaron Carnes.
