So we've come to the end of the road. The one where we question the proclamation that there are no alternatives to capitalism. We look at how the cross is an absolutist claim of top down power. We look at how the cross of Jesus could be seen as a hope killer, then we ground it all in solidarity.

That was a Yu-Gi-Oh reference. Yeah I grew up in the 90's and swept the floor in tournaments for cash, but now I've changed my ways and I am extremely online. "The problem is greed." We've all fuckin heard it, but might there be more to "the problem" than individual greed? This episode reflects on the nuance of the belief that "the problem" is greed. Then we suggest an alternative analysis that locates "the problem" elsewhere. Finally, we finish with some of the implications this alternative analysis might leave us to wrestle with as persons of faith.

The one where we reflect on the Col 3's "Peace of Christ" and think about the common ways of understanding freedom under capitalism. Then for dessert offer an alternative way of thinking about freedom under capitalism also  talk alternative freedoms and unfreedoms that we might want to consider.

This is the one where for some reason were hungover in Brooklyn with Lil Nas X and labour exploitation on the mind. We scritch around wondering if employees are paid for all their work and where the hell empl*yers get their profits from. Then we hit Isaiah real hard and think about how we ought to think of our ecology. Enjoy.
