We spend an entire episode diving in to the recent attack on Israel by the terrorist group known as Hamas and the less-than-stellar response from the IDF so far. As of this writing the IDF has killed more than double the amount of victims that Hamas left in their wake over a week ago. Our main goal is to go over some history of the region, and spread awareness for our listeners in regards to who is suffering in this conflict : civilians. We consider both the IDF and Hamas to be terrorists, but it's important to distinguish their methods, intentions, and distinctions as far as funding, battle-readiness, and ideologies. Having said that, we try to understand the psyche of an individual growing up in that region. We mention many times that we would kill anyone that hurt our children, but what drives a person to hurt a child in the first place. The answer is not so simple, but can be explained in simple terms: love begets love, violence begets violence, hate begets hate. The world needs to help these regions with love and aid, not weapons and bombing campaigns. At the very least, that's a good place to start...
