Perrottet to meet key independent over transgender comments

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet will meet crossbench MP Alex Greenwich and transgender advocates next week after the key independent threatened to withdraw support for government supply and confidence over the premier's comments about transgender people in sport.

Perrottet this week weighed into the transgender sporting debate dominating the federal election campaign in the seat of Warringah, saying he believed "girls and women should be free to play sport against girls and women"

Even the richest residents in Shanghai are facing food shortages due to a strict COVID-19 lockdown that has been in place for three weeks.

Ms Xu is the founder and president of Capital Today, with personal wealth estimated at $3.3 billion, according to Hurun Global. But like many residents of China's richest city, Ms Xu has now turned to social media platforms in order to obtain groceries.

Yet more that three weeks into a strict lockdown of approximately 26 million people only three Covid-19 fatalities have been reported in Shanghai (at the time of this update), the first to be officially counted since the beginning of the city’s lockdown.

The three people reported on Monday included two women aged 89 and 91, and a 91-year-old man, who also had underlying health conditions, and were reportedly unvaccinated.

So could this kind of man made disaster ever happen in Australia?

Three years ago I would have said "no way Jose".

But now, I'm not so sure.

Is the Chinese Government allowing this propaganda to be published, just to see the response it will get from the U.S?

If the only ramifications are sanctions then China may be well prepared to endure the short term hardship for what it views as long term gain.

The west is starting to value human life based on 'whether it's convenient'

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson says the west is starting to value human life according to "whether it's convenient" rather than the "intrinsic worth of every human being".

Mr Anderson's comments came while discussing a study by the Australian National University, which has unearthed evidence of Chinese authorities harvesting the organs of death row prisoners.

According to the study, surgeons were enlisted to harvest the hearts of prisoners before they were medically brain-dead.

The media and woke leftists who are constantly virtue signaling.

Always eager to post a new slogan, stand behind the latest ill informed “righteous cause”

Don't expect them to call out China for Human Rights issues if it is going to affect the money flow.
