Skelly and Mayo look back on a successful third season of the S&M Show by recapping the episodes, guests and conversations that made it such a memorable one. The guys are hugely grateful to all the guests and listeners who contributed their time and attention the show in 2020.
It's a sad show this week as the guys reflect on the recent and sudden passing of Mayo's younger brother. They talk about the pain of loss and the need to find support in such times. If you or anyone you know is struggling with a recent death or any mental health issues, Mentally Aware Nigeria (@MentallyAwareNG on social media) is an excellent place to find professional help.
Skelly & Mayo look forward to winding down the work year and look forward to the year-end break and all it offers. They talk 'Christmas affairs', general poor behavior during the Bature Brewery episode, the year that was and the year to come.
It's a slightly different show this time as Skelly and Mayo share content they created for their podcasting training course. They discuss the aftermath of the Lekki Massacre and the tragic end to the #EndSARS protests.
The course was created in partnership with Sapphital, the leading e-learning company in NIgeria. If you're interested in learning about podcasting, head over to Sapphital.com and sign up for the course!
There's only one topic this week: #EndSARS. Skelly and Mayo talk about the powerful protest movement that has suddenly swept Nigeria. We reflect on what has led the country to this moment, what it could lead to, the leadership shown by young Nigerian women and what's impressed us most.
If you're supporting the calls for ending police brutality in Nigeria, thank you. May God bless and protect you.
