The Small Town Rundown

On this episode of The Small Town Rundown, I meet with Mel Hasler from Hope, Indiana. Mel grew up in the rodeo world and traveled all across the country to compete in national competitions. We talked about her family history in equine sports, and their facility in Bartholomew County, as well as how rodeo prepared her for a career in agriculture. On this very first episode of The Small Town Rundown, I sit down with Logan McFatridge to talk about the cattle industry. Logan is a cattle farmer and has been showing Herefords for over 14 years. Logan was on the Purdue Livestock judging team and is currently serving as the chairman of the NJHA board of directors. 

We talk about issues facing the cattle production industry nationwide and how growing up showing livestock impacted him.
