The Smitty FM Podcast

Hello and welcome back to the Smitty FM Podcast. We have a fun episode this week. First, we talk about our weeks and the fun things about them, along with some pretty personal life updates. Next, Smitty turns the table on Ry Guy and gives him a This or That quiz. Then we move into another edition of Has Ry Guy Played It? Finally, we close the show with the beginning of what could be a multi-week discussion where we talk about comic book and/or superhero movies that aren't apart of the MCU. The movies that laid the foundation for what would be started - and later imitated - by Marvel Studios with Iron Man in 2008. It's a topic we had a lot of fun starting and we've only begun to scratch the surface.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Smitty FM Podcast! We had a lot of fun recording this one, so strap in!

First, we start with a recap of our weeks, where each of us got to do some fun stuff with our kiddos and it was very fun to share all of that.

Next we talk about a sports franchise that is doing a very cowardly thing as far as ticket sales go, and we both don't like it at all.

Then we move on to another edition of Has Smitty Seen Them? It's a really fun one that takes us back... which they all kind of do haha.

Finally we close the show with our main topic by talking about some old TV shows that we used to watch, mainly the ones that filled in the hours of the day that weren't prime time for major and cable networks. It was a lot of fun to reminisce and find some old images of what the people used to wear on these shows.

We also close with an announcement about our recording schedule going forward, so follow us on social media @smittyfmpodcast for info and updates. Thanks again for listening!

Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Smitty FM Podcast! This week we start our show with our recap of the last couple weeks of work, along with fun times and kids getting sick... good times.

We then bring back an old segment when Ry Guy gives Smitty another This or That? quiz!

Next, we go into another edition of Has Ry Guy Played It?

Finally, we end the show with a long (but still not long enough) discussion where we talk about some of our favorite things about Saturday Night Live. SNL has been a part of both of our lives for a long time and we have a great time talking about some of our favorite memories watching the show over the years, and even some of the things we've missed. It was really fun and we hope you enjoy it.

Hello and welcome to another episode of the Smitty FM Podcast! We kick this week off by sharing about our weeks of work, but also the fact that each of us had three day weekends where we got to do some stuff with our families.

Next, we have the second edition of Smitty Reacts, where Ry Guy shares a harrowing story involing science, hubris, and an imaginary friend come to life. You have to hear it to believe it.

Then we move into another edition of Has Smitty Seen Them? and it's full of 90's nostalgia goodness.

Finally, we close the show talking about Wrestlemania 38 night 2 and everything that happened and our thoughts on it.

Hello and welcome back to the Smitty FM Podcast! This week we share a quick recap about our week, and then we jump right into another edition of Has Smitty Seen Them? Then we jump right into the longest continuous topic we've had on the show as we finish our discussion on the Pixar movies. We've had a really great time talking about them and we hope you've enjoyed it too.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Smitty FM Podcast!

This week we kick off the show with a brief recap of our weeks (not much to recap, we worked a lot). We then move on to a new segment that we haven't named yet, but Ry Guy shares a weird or interesting news headline with Smitty and he reacts to it without any prior knowledge of what Ry Guy was reading. It's an interesting start to this, but maybe help us out and name the segment. You'll get a shout out on the show.

Next we move on to another edition of Has Ry Guy Played It? with a fun, albeit sometimes controversial, game that is great for parties... depending on who the party is with.

Finally we close the show with more talk about Pixar movies and what we think of them. We do make it through a few more than last week, but the discussion is still just as fun.

Hello and welcome back to the Smitty FM Podcast. This week, we have a full slate of topics to discuss after last week's shorter episode.

First, we start with a brief recap and a short discussion over the sudden death of long time Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins at age 50. He will be sorely missed by us as fans, but more importantly we hope his friends and family can navigate what comes next without him in their lives.

Second, we discuss our strange interactions with military recruitment at the time we were graduating high school around twenty years ago.

Next, we have a fun, heated discussion surrounding Has Smitty Seen Them? this week... probably the highlight of the show.

Finally, we close the show by starting (but not ending) our discussion on all of the Pixar movies. We're taking them by release date, so as we go we share our thoughts and favorite moments from each movie... This topic could take a while.

Hello and welcome back to the newest episode of the Smitty FM Podcast. This week is a short and sweet episode as we catch up on our work week, with some fun family stuff sprinkled in for seasoning. We then talk about the passing of wrestling legend Scott Hall as we discuss his impact and legacy that he leaves behind. Finally, we close the show in an impromptu manner as we enjoy the newest edition of Has Ry Guy Played It? with a cool, fun game from recent memory.

Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy this brief edition to the catalog. Barring any setbacks, we should be back next week with a full length episode.

Hello and welcome to another episode of the Smitty FM Podcast. We are back this week with some fun things to talk about, so let's get to it.

First, we have a brief recap of how our weeks have gone. Now that Ry Guy's back at work, we have less to talk about as far as that goes, and certainly less than last week.

Then we talk about Spotify and their business model. Sure, we don't really talk about business very much, but we focus more on what music used to look like when we were growing up as far as purchasing it went, and how services such as Spotify have drastically changed that.

We then move into another edition of Has Smitty Seen Them? with a fun entry that takes us back to the radio show days.

Finally, we close the show talking about the young adults church group we used to be a part of and it was called Thursdays. We have a great time reminiscing and discussing some of our favorite memories of that time in our lives, and we hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane.
