Hello listeners! This week, Smitty and I discuss what we've been up to during the week. I talk about what I've been playing, and Smitty even shares a quick update about his progress on Super Mario Odyssey. We talk a little about the NCAA being forced to let college athletes earn money off their name, image and likeness. It's a big breakthrough and even though it's not necessarily in Smitty's wheelhouse, it's a cool discussion and an important one to have. We then talk about Batman: Arkham Asylum in our biweekly segment "Has Ry Guy played it". Then we move on to talk about previous jobs, and I take Smitty for a funny trip sharing tidbits about my job history that he didn't know about. We thought it would be about how our old jobs were awful, but it was actually quite fun. We then close the show with our weekly recap of Loki. It's really getting moving and we are in to the end with this show. Can't wait to see how things end up down the stretch.

Hello listeners! This week, Smitty and I start the show talking about Smitty's time seeing John Crist with Mrs. Smitty last weekend. I share that I was a bad pet owner and that I missed Kirby's second training class, but I also talk about stuff I've been playing this week. We then transition into another episode of This or That, this time featuring two things that Smitty has no experience with. I then ask my pal if he's seen a legendary band live, but I don't wanna spoil that here. We also talk about things in pop culture that many people seem to enjoy but for whatever reason don't click with us... I have a feeling a couple of mine will make some people very upset. This week's episode is all off for us. We record on a Thursday, on a night when we both have to work the next day, and it shows. We start the show by wishing a Happy Father's Day to each other, and acknowledging that we missed Mother's Day, so happy Mother's Day to our wives, moms, and all the other special ladies in our lives. We talk about how I'm taking Kirby to training now to teach an old dog new tricks... or basic commands like sit. We do a quick catch up of Nintendo's E3 and talk about some of our favorite things from it, and then Smitty finds a game that I haven't played already! Then we move into talking about some of our favorite summer memories from when we were younger. Then we close the show with our second weekly discussion about Loki. Spoiler warning for that at the end of our show.

Hello faithful listeners. It's been a strange week. Smitty's back to work, and his house purchasing process slowly marches on. He and Mrs Smitty also went out to the theater for the first time since 2019. Was the movie worth it? Gotta listen to find out.

 I talk about an early Parents Night Out provided by our local Y and how it provided some quality time to go out for dinner (dating your spouse is important folks). The dinner was delicious and we've got lots of leftovers.

We then move on to a very interesting "This or That"... interesting, and also possibly a little disappointing for Smitty.

We also talk about E3 starting this weekend after being on hiatus last year due to the pandemic. We specifically focus on Nintendo and possible announcements about the next character to be added to the already humongous Smash Bros Ultimate roster.

WWE has made many roster cuts in the first half of 2021, so as wrestling nerds we are obligated to talk about them and how the future of the company seems to also be in the balance. We are worried for sure.

Smitty then tells us about another band that he has seen. Fans of pop punk in the 90s and into the 00s need to tune in for this one.

Finally, we close the show out discussing the new Disney plus show Loki. Spoiler alert; it's great.

This week Smitty and I have a really long intro where Smitty talks about his week off from work. He and Mrs Smitty have finally found a house!!! Smitty also talks about all the cool stuff he got to do with his boys this week and even getting to go to a baseball game with Papa Smitty. Then he shares about how he gave a "This or That" test to our good friend Hockey Mullet Joe. I then get to talk about another classic video game with Street Fighter II and the influence it created in the fighting game genre going forward. We then finish the show talking about whether Zelda is more popular than Sonic in the minds of the general population.

I ask Smitty about another band that was super popular when we were in high school, and then we close the show talking about a cool Captain America movie idea that we totally came up with on our own... This week Smitty and I catch up with each other over some fun topics such as my experience with the process of beginning to look at adopting a dog. We discuss the new Detroit Lions head coach and his, um, tactics for his team this year and how to motivate them. Smitty also asks me about one of my top three all time favorite video games. This week Smitty and Ry Guy open the show talking about the fun of adulting when looking for a house to buy. Smitty also gets tested on his nerd and sports knowledge by with a little quiz. In our main topic we then discuss at length the consequences of undoing Thanos' snap and how it's unfolded in the MCU since then. We then close the show talking about one of our favorite video games of all time and how it's a timeless classic that anyone of any age will always be able to play.

In our second episode, we start by finding out what Hogwarts House our fearless host Smitty would be sorted into. We also talk about how we keep getting old based off a recent discovery of what a local rock station considers to be "classic" rock. We finish by introducing a new biweekly segment where Smitty also talks about a band that we both saw together a number of years ago.
