Enrick and Peter discuss the past week's action in Brazil. They start off in São Paulo where a place in the Paulista knockout rounds was up for grabs. Two matches would decide who progressed: Botafogo-SP vs SPFC and Ituano vs Santos. They guys then moved north to the exciting closing phase of the Taça Guanabara in Rio de Janeiro. They talked Flamengo's back to back losses to Vasco and Fluminense respectively. Flu would ultimately take home the trophy for the first phase of the Carioca giving Fernando Diniz his first major trophy as a manager. In the premier match of the week Grêmio hosted bitter rivals Internacional in Luis Suárez's first GreNal derby. They hosts analyze the match and heap praise on Franco Cristaldo. They also check in with some of the lesser followed state competitions and look ahead to the business ends of these tournaments.

Enrick and Peter review the tense Clássico Alvinegro between Santos and Corinthians including the dramatic ending. They talk through the status of the groups in the Paulista as the competition enters its final group stage match day. They delve into the Carioca as well but Flamengo's loss in the Recopa hangs over the discussion. That loss on penalties to Independiente del Valle is analyzed and the guys speculate on what will become of Vitor Pereira. In international news Ramon Menezes has made his first Seleção call ups for upcoming friendlies and there is lots to celebrate...and question...

Enrick and Peter are joined by Fabian from Corinthians in English (@Corinthians__EN) to talk all things Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. Fabians tells us about growing up in the 90s and becoming a Corinthians supporter in the era of Marcelinho. The impact of Socrates and "Democracia Corinthiana", arrival of Ronaldo, and the 2012 Libertadores triumph are discussed at length. Fabian also explains the monumental win vs Chelsea in the 2012 Club World Cup and what it means to be the most recent South American team to lift that trophy. The guys then quizzed Fabian on the current Corinthians roster and manger as well as expectations and predictions for the upcoming Brasilerão.

Enrick and Peter cover the big Recopa clash in Ecuador following the disappointing result for Flamengo. They then talk through São Paulo's Big 4 getting 4 big wins. Santos, Corinthians, SPFC, and Palmeiras's victories are all analyzed. The guys also touch on some other matches in RJ, Copa do Nordeste, and Copa do Brasil. They run through the latest news on player transactions including the monumental homecoming of Marcelo to Fluminense and Luiz Adriano's return to Internacional. The lads end looking ahead to the second leg of the Recopa and two big clássicos: Clássico Rivaldade (Botafogo v Flamengo) and the Clássico Alvinegro (Santos v Corinthians).

Enrick and Peter heap praise on the u20 Brazilian Seleção as they defeated the Uruguayans to capture the 2023 U20 Copa America. First the guys cover Flamengo's lackluster showing against Al Ahly in the Club World Cup. Despite winning the bronze medal, the guys think Nação Rubo-Negra will feel deflated by the showing in Morocco. The conversation then turns to the latest on the state tournaments including a number of exciting derbies. São Paulo v Santos, Corinthians v Palmerias, Vasco v Botafogo, Vasco v Fluminense, and Cruziero v Atl. Minero are all covered.

Enrick and Peter host Danish expert on Brazilian football Andreas Knudsen. Andreas is a podcaster and radio commentator covering all things Flamengo and Brazilian football in general. He hosts the Danish language "Brasserbold" podcast in addition to being a regular in the press areas of FC Midtjylland's stadium where he helps interview Brazilian players and provides radio commentary. He boasts thousands of followers between his accounts on Twitter including his Flamengo.DK account where he updates Flamengo fans in Danish. Andreas also is the only Dane in the world to be a member of CR Flamengo. The guys talked Andreas's many interactions and experiences with Brazilian players and of course discussed Flamengo's upcoming season.
