Sloane is a doctor, one night in the hospital she treats a woman named Lacey. Lacey is like Zeth's little sister, and once he speaks she knows. She knows hes the one from the hotel room. This is the beginning of their complicated and long relationship. The plot line in this book takes you on quite a journey, you meet a lot of side characters, some you love and some you hate. One thing is certain, their sex and chemistry is on fire and we are here for it. Get ready to read a wild 800 pages.

As readers we don't know what that means and neither does Emery, but she's going to find out quick that not everything is as it seems. Lies start being unraveled and their relationship is put to the test is the biggest way possible.

Is this age gap, motorcycle, romance book we meet Haven and Chase. Haven is getting ready to graduate high school and is looking for a way to make some money so that she can go on a trip. She comes from a family of older brothers who are way over protective, a loving dad, and a mother that has passed away. Chase is your hot sexy asshole motorcycle bar owner who is too old to be messing with a 17 year old virgin.

At first Chase wants nothing to do with Haven and even goes so far as to kick her out of his bar. We learn quickly that the motorcycle gang that hangs there is not nice and is also run by Chase's dad, who is also an asshole, but not in a good way. Of course Haven comes back and wants a job, Chase relents and give it to her, and the sexual I hate you tension begins. During this time we meet some side characters, we both personally love Haven's bestie, Cove.

Drama follows, jealousy brews, monkey wrench's enter the ring, brothers dont know how to mind their business....in the end though they seem to get it together and go on an amazing trip together. It would seem the series isn't over though, the next book is about Cove and one of Haven's brothers.....we can't wait.

Can you tell we love mafia books. We open this book with youngish Dante and his brother Lorenzo. Lorenzo is refusing to marry who his dad, Sal, is ordering him to, so he writes him off and pushes everything on to Dante. After some time has passed rumors start swirling because Dante doesn't in fact get married because he killed his bride and her entire family the day before the wedding.

Kat is living a normal boring life. Used to be a nurse, no longer is, doesn't leave her house much, her parents are dead, and her brother Leo is a garbage human, leaving Kat to pick up the pieces of the messes he creates all while he steals her savings and any money to her name.

Kat comes home from work one day and there are 2 men in her house, Max and Dante. Essentially Leo owes Dante money and instead of killing Kat to make a point, he kidnaps her in hopes that Leo will come back to town and pay what he owes. Max is Dante's 2nd in command and is not shy to announce he thinks this plan is terrible.

Kat is aware of who Dante is and is terrified that he is going to use her as his toy. He can tell how much that thought terrifies her and he makes it very clear that, that will not be happening and he is going to use her for her nursing skills. For us, Dante may be an asshole, but he is already starting to have redeeming qualities.

Kat helps where she is needed, there is serious sexual tension, and one day it snaps. The sex between them is explosive. She has some trauma to work through and he is more then happy to help her out with that. Feelings start brewing pretty quickly. He does make it very clear that regardless of what they are doing, if she runs, he will kill her or hand her over to his men, and he is not playing around.

She of course runs, shit happens, trust is broken, everything is just a mess. A sister shows up, Leo is found, the father is trash, all of the things.....because what would a good plot line be without it.

We love a good book with an alpha asshole male character, but we also love the redemption aspect of what makes us love these characters. Knox is the asshole in this book, he plays the enemy very well, however, he never really hits his redemption path. He continues to be very mean up to the very end. He has a very dark past that he seems to be stuck in, partially because he has a terrible abusive father that doesn't allow him to escape.

Aspen is the female lead in this book, she starts out with a father that is into some shady shit, ends up getting murdered and only has his best friend to help her out. because her mom is garbage. One of the troupes of this book is that she starts sleeping with said best friend, age gap of about 25+ years.

Knox and Aspen know each other from childhood and they hate each other. Knox knows all her dirty secrets and uses them to his advantage. They begin a sexual relationship after she ends things with the best friend (Leo, aka Knox's uncle). There is a lot of story in between in regards to her mother, Knox's dad, everyone's relationship. We will say the sex is good, the plot line is wild, and a happy ending isn't always what it seems.

We enter back into the world of Danny and Rose, and James and Beau. The Bear is still being chased, Ollie the ex of Beau, also known as the monkey wrench is still present. Danny and Rose's world is being blown apart because Danny is having to come back into the land of the living to help James. Rose and Beau are becoming fast friends as is James and Danny. They are all working together to find the Bear, relationships are being tested left and right, and each person is having to find their new norm and their place in the world they are now living.

If we could advise of one thing, it would be to take Amelia's trigger warning to heart in this book, she is not messing around.

The book starts with the wedding of Aderyn, it has turned bloody because she has done something she should not have. We also meet Khaos Nasir, he is the man making things bloody. It would seem these 2 have a connection, however, he was not the one she was getting ready to marry. We learn quickly that Aderyn has done something in a past life that has cursed many people including Khaos. She is a witch and he is known as the devil. These 2 are destined to love one another however, bc of the curse they can't be together. He of course doesn't allow her to be with anyone else and because she can't remember anything from a past life, she hates him because of this. It's a constant battle between love and hate, sexual tension and the desire to harm the other, and the grand plan of getting rid of the curse that follows them.
