The Snap UK (An American Football Podcast)

It's that time again, it's the time for the Snap UK Mock Draft...who will be first, what Quarter Backs will go, and how many times will 4th & Inches reach for someone nobody had heard of.

It's a case of what we would do, not what we think would happen, but who is going to trade up/down and make the right or wrong calls.

Denzel Ward has a new deal from the Cleveland Browns, and the stand out Corner Back has a new 5 year deal.

Stephon Gilmore signs for the Colts, to help a defence that was already pretty good.

We start to look at the NFL Draft, and who are the stand out prospects, along with some of the more interesting people. We also look at the history of who have been the worst Draft Busts over the last ten years.

We start with the tragic news of the passing Dwayne Haskins, and the misjudged tweet from Adam Schefter.

Washington Commanders face more scrutiny for trying to keep money from the other owners, and now it emerges, the fans.

Derek Carr has a new contract, will Lamar get a new one?

We look at those teams that have two First Round Draft picks, are they going to stay, can other teams take one off them?

Did Tom Brady force Bruce Arians to take an upstairs role, probably not, but it's a social media trope at the moment. After a Super Bowl win, followed by a narrow loss in the Championship Game, Bruce Arians has stepped aside and Todd Bowles takes control of the Buccaneers.

Malcolm Jenkins has retired, but so has Future Hall of Famer, Frank Gore, who is now concentrating on boxing...yeah!? Do either of these make it to Canton though?

We're going early, but who is the best team in the AFC East for this week's Snappy Snap, as Miami make moves to close the gap to a very good Buffalo team, but have they done enough?

Tyreek Hill has been traded to the Miami Dolphins, does this make the Dolphins a contender, and does Juju Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdez-Scantling adequately replace the explosive Wide Receiver in Kansas City?

The League Meeting has taken place and the Playoff Overtime Rules have been changed, is this as good as we could hope for?

It's our first Power Ranking of the season, taking place after an eventful Free Agency period, who is top, and who is expecting a rough season.

This week we are also introducing our Snappy Snaps feature,  and we're starting with a big question, what do you do with the Washington franchise, can it be saved, and is what suggested pure pie in the sky thinking?

Some blockbuster news in the Free Agency, as the QuarterBack shuffle hots up and Deshaun Watson and Matt Ryan will be under centre for new teams in 2022, with differing reactions to each.

Can you seperate the sporting side from the morality with the Watson trade? Does this make the Browns a much better team...most probably!

Davante Adams is reunited with Derek Carr, and the Raiders are looking more like SuperBowl contenders, on paper at least!

All the latest Free Agency news, moves and gossip

Russell Wilson is off to the Broncos where the AFC West is now home to one of the strongest Quarterback stables in the whole NFL.

Tom Brady has spent two months with his family, and decided to come back to being hit by 300lb men every weekend instead.

Aaron Rodgers signs a new contract with the Packers, where he is now on around $50 million for the year, but can they pay him and surround him with decent players...probably not.

Carson Wentz is out of Indianapolis after one year, moving to the Commanders. Does this improve the Commanders, and what are the Colts going to do?

We look at some of the biggest moves so far in Free Agency

The SuperBowl Champions, Los Angeles Rams came from the NFC this year, but what about the rest of the teams in the Conference, who can look back on a good season above expectations, and who can look back on a year of disappointment.

In the news, Calvin Ridley is facing a season ban, the Franchise Tags are beginning to be announced, Gruden is annoyed with arbitration, and is Rodgers getting a new contract in Green Bay?

Now the season is done we now look at how the teams did, who should be looking back on the 2021 season with a sense of pride, and who should be looking back and thinking 'how on Earth did we miss out on the Playoffs?' and what do they need to do to get into a winning position next year?

We also go through the biggest name Free Agents, and will they be kept, will they be tagged, or will they be hitting the open market?
