Three stories. Three minutes. Let’s go.
California spent $236 million on a program meant to help people with serious mental illness. After four years, it helped 22 people.
Not a typo.Twenty-two.
Which technically means it wasn’t a failure. It was a very exclusive boutique program.
Like a nightclub that already cashed a $236 million check. The line is four miles long. And the bouncer keeps saying:Not tonight. Not tonight.Definitely not tonight.
The program was championed by Gavin Newsom, who says this proves government can work when it’s bold.
And to be fair—That takes confidence.
Not leadership.Just belief.
Then we pivot to health, where experts are once again warning that four common foods are destroying your gut.Bread.Fried foods.Sugar.And anything you enjoy while seated.
At this point, eating feels less like nourishment and more like an apology tour.
Finally, if your car feels shaky after a snowstorm, don’t panic. It’s probably just ice packed into the wheels.
Not doom. Not danger.Just frozen garbage clinging where it doesn’t belong.
Which, honestly, is still more progress than a $236 million program that helped 22 people and called it leadership.
Clear the wheels.Question the bread.Audit the confidence.
This is the Snark Factor 3 in 3.I’m Fingers Malloy.Let’s talk tomorrow.
