If there were one habit you could develop that would change EVERYTHING in your life for the better, it would be immediately noticing your negative thoughts and turning them positive before they even come out of your mouth.
The killer isโฆโฆ stating your goals in a negative context.
Examples:
โI want to lose weight because I DONโT WANT to be on medication for the rest of my life.โ
โI want to lose weight because I DONโT WANT to have chronic pain.โ
โI want to lose weight because I DONโT WANT to be the fat friend.โ
Way to change this:
I want to lose weight because I WANT to get off medication.
I want to lose weight because I WANT to live pain free.
I want to lose weight because I WANT to feel confident in my group of friends.
What you say over and over will eventually be what your actions align with (as a default)... without even trying or recognizing it.
All you need to do is become aware and be intentional about catching yourself and flipping the script!
