In Episode 5 we sit down with Jonathan Wilkerson, a 27 year old IT Cloud Engineer from Virginia.  After graduating with honors from Old Dominion University and working in the Criminal Justice field for a few years he became unsatisfied with the line of work and benefits. 

Therefore, he made a career change by studying for IT certifications over 12 months, after a few failed interviews and learning curves he landed his first job. The field of IT is extremely large, there are hundreds of jobs within the industry , not everybody has to be a "geek", and there are certifications to help you gain an understanding of these different job roles. 

So over a glass of white wine Jon & I discuss his journey into the field, why he decided to focus of IT Cloud Technology (a focus within the industry) and what he has in store next.
