In this podcast, we discuss the doctrine of preservation—both in general and specifically as it pertains to the Scriptures. The great war began when the serpent asked Eve, “Yea, hath God said?”—casting doubt on the very words of God. That war has never ceased. It continues today, not openly, but subtly.
We are not typical “King James Onlyists.” Rather, we begin with the biblical truth that God promised to preserve His Word, that God preserves by resurrection, and that the ultimate test of God’s true Word is the fruit it bears. If one must put a label on it—what was once simply called Christianity—we might be called “Preserved Scripture Onlyists.”
We believe much of what is taught today in seminaries and pulpits—both directly and indirectly—undermines faith in the Scriptures. While the Bible lays out God’s method of preservation with crystal clarity, what is commonly taught in our churches seldom resembles the biblical model at all.
The apostle Paul reminded Timothy that the Scriptures he had known from childhood were sufficient, trustworthy, and life-giving:
2 Timothy 3:14–16 (KJV)
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Likewise, the Psalms testify to the purity and refinement of God’s words:
Psalm 12:6 (KJV)
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
This podcast exists to challenge modern assumptions, restore confidence in God’s preserved Word, and call believers back to a faith that rests not on academic uncertainty, but on the sure promises of God Himself.
