Laura appears to have the virus, and she's not that unwell, but please don't take this to mean it's not dangerous. Laura is young, healthy, and she is isolating herself to keep vulnerable people who won't handle it so well from getting ill.

We're back! EastEnders creeps us out with ceiling dweller Leo's eyeball peeping down at Whitney, Pierce successfully frames Marlon on Emmerdale, Jeff pushes his bad behavior just that one step beyond bad, and on General Hospital, Sonny and his family are targeted by a clever-clogs new enemy.

Happy New Year from Laura and Donna. We're back and ready to have a soapy 2020!

The last few weeks of soaps have been full of plots and other things that should have stayed dead. On EastEnders we find Lisa doing her best to drag Mel's death out as long as possible, on Emmerdale, the shambling corpse of Maya has resurrected, on Corrie we find Jade playing some half-brained revenge drama out on the stage of Fiz's home, and on General Hospital, Nikolas is still back from the dead, and Franco may get his brain back.
