There are some common threads between an obsession and an addiciton. We definintely have had both in our expriences and we still can't always tell the difference. We had fun discussing it anyway. 

It's clear that we're humans struggling with how to relate to one another in this episode. We're always bumping up against each other on this plane of conciousness. We're at least aware of that fact. We're working on it, okay!? 

We don't know much, but we've taken alot of drugs and alcohol, so we have our own versions and ideas of what god or cosmic conciousness means to us. We're addicts, but aren't we all? From food to sex to social media, addiction is something all humans have a connection with. Commitment is serious business, and we've all struggled with it. We rap about being all in once you make a decision to commit to something. We're all pretty well versed at being insanly commited or incredibley noncommited. We're not great at a balanced approach to anything. 

Thie final round of self deception. Three episodes seems excessive, but that's becasue self deception is such a massive part of the human operating system, it's a recurring topic in our lives. This episode we rant for an inordinate amount of time about incense and talk about "showing up". We discuss what showing up looks like for us now versus being a bunch of no show drunks and junkies. We've got so much experience with self delusion, we had to record a double episode. We could probably record an entire series from our life experiences. It's freeing when you discover what self deception is holding you back. It's the key to letting go of resentments. A key spiritual practice requirement.
