  • Just me: BPD, Bipolar 2 and My Sobriety
I have had quite the break!! So an update was more than required.I drank during the break. 3 times. I wanted to restart the podcast, but to do that I had to be honest with you. The good news is that the blips drove me to get serious about my mental health and what was behind these blips - it resulted in a new dual mental health diagnoses. It's scary sharing this. But I feel like it's my purpose to do so. To connect to others and keep journeying forward into my truth.I will be launching new offerings and making new content over the coming months - as well as teaching yoga! So please do keep in touch if my work resonates with you. Please don't forget to connect with me on social:https://www.youtube.com/c/rachelbradyhttp://instagram.com/reallywellrachelhttp://www.reallywellrachel.co.uk/

  • Alex McRoberts, Yoga Teacher, Sober Coach, Podcaster and CEO of The Mindful Life Practice
I feel like I have known my guest today much longer than the few weeks I have, as she has become an instrumental part of my life, my sobriety and my wellbeing. Welcome to Sober Yoga Girl, Alex McRoberts! Alex is young but has achieved oh so much already. She is a coach, a sober coach, an awesome yoga teacher - I am actually beginning my yoga teacher training with her very soon - and a community creator - she runs international, online yoga school The Mindful Life Practice (highly recommend her community). She's also a podcaster - and hosts the awesome Sober Yoga Girl. She has even written her first book! Out chat touches on mental health, partying at uni, her decision to finally quit - and so much more. I think you'll find Alex so inspiring and fun and you'll resonate with a lot of this if you loved your wine - but now you love your woo...Find Alex here: https://www.instagram.com/alexmcrobs/https://www.instagram.com/soberyogagirlpodcast/https://www.instagram.com/themindfullifepractice/

  • Sarah Hill, Wellbeing Coach, Yoga & Ecstatic Awakening Dance Guide
Sarah is just gorgeous - a special soul who exudes healing energy. She talked to me very honestly about her relationship with alcohol and how it interplayed with her overall self-care and experience as a mother. Hers is a story about a mother who is healing, one I am so familiar with myself - and one that all of us, mums especially, will relate to. An insightful chat with a special lady. Enjoy!Remember to leave a comment and rate/review - it really helps this podcast get seen by people who just may need to hear it. Find Sarah here: @wildwomenwellbeing

  • Drew Charles, Musician & Sober Writer
This week I spoke to the lovely Drew Charles. Drew was someone I connected with in OYNB. He was a very eloquent member and he shared beautifully about his sober journey, being in a band, and being a newly sober husband and father. He is a very talented writer and as such has turned his story into a memoir, called The After Party. He is currently writing a novel.Find Drew's memoir here: https://amzn.to/3koDXDEDrew on Insta: @drewcharlesAF

  • Just me: Sobriety as Self-Care

What the most important question is in sobriety. What the most common triggers are and what they have to do with self care. Also I talk about the self care woo woo things that are most prominent in my life, namely essential oils, yoga, and journalling.Resources:Essential Oils resources:My DoTerra Oils store: https://www.mydoterra.com/soothedandsupported/#/Best option if you want to get really into the oils with support and education and help from me too. • Just Me: My Sober Story
Hey! It's episode one (eeek sorry if it's a bit rough 'n' ready!) and so it makes sense to share my own story of boozing, then being sober curious, then finally flourishing and finding my woo.I can't express enough really how my version of woo has helped me find meaning and connection in my sobriety journey. It's become my absolute bedrock and my foundation for my self care. As someone with ADHD and depression I need to feel connected to myself and the universe, and woo woo really does that for me. As well as it being so healing and so much fun learning about these modalities.I hope so much that it resonates or is helpful or interesting to you. Please do reach out and share with me: [email protected] and don't forget to subscribe and connect on Insta too.
