  • What the Spell?

    What’s in a spell?

Spells are a central part of any magical practice, but every practitioner has a different approach to understanding and casting them. In this episode we talk bout our favorite spells, how we go about creating and casting, what exactly it is that makes a spell a spell, what to do after you’ve cast, and how anyone can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary with a little bit of *magic*. Plus, we reveal what we will never do in our spell-work.

So get out your grimoires and quills, brew some tea, and dive into the magical world of spell craft with us…and so it is!

    xxx,

    Caitlin, Alyssa, and Elena

  • Symbols, Sigils, and Signs. Oh My!

    It’s a sign!

Do you ever feel like the world is speaking to you through symbols? Well, we think it is. Join Caitlin D, Elena, and Alyssa for a conversation about how we understand symbols, how to follow the signs that the universe and our psyches are presenting to us, and a sigil-making process so that we can send signals back.

So get out your colored pencils, brew some tea, and dive into the magical world of symbols with us…and so it is! ✨

  • In Your Dreams

What could be more magical than a dream?

Caitlin talks about her obsession with dreams, how to engage with dreams in a process called active dreaming, a dream interpretation method that requires no dream dictionary or outside authority whatsoever, and we each share a powerful dream that has impacted us throughout our lives.

We spend a major part of our lives dreaming, and we reject the notion that this time lacks meaning or purpose! Dreaming can unlock the gates to a profound new understanding of life, death, reality, and self. It can teach us how to take care of our bodies. It can help us resolve long-held traumas. If we learn how to listen, dreaming can take us beyond our wildest…well, dreams!

So fluff your pillow, brew some tea, and sink into the magical world of dreaming with us…and so it is! ✨

  • The One About Tarot

Did you know that Tarot is the reason Soft Power even exists?

Caitlin was new to Nashville, but she was asked to read Tarot at an art opening where the artist had used Tarot archetypes as a thread in his paintings. Alyssa (the gallery director at the show) was one of her patrons and ended up invited Caitlin into her magical circle.

Such is the power of Tarot!

This week we’re talking all things Tarot—our favorite cards (hint: they’re all celestial), how it acts as magical road-opener, oracle, and therapeutic tool, and how we use it in our craft.

So pull out your favorite deck, brew some tea, and dive into the magical world of Tarot with us…and so it is! ✨
