In the preaching, it was declared definitively that the Son is equal with the Father, because He is one with the Father. Specifically, Jesus showed His perfect unity with the Father by only doing what He saw the Father is doing and by judging according to what He heard from the Father. Christ is indeed truly one with the Father in His works and judgments!"For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?” (John 5:46-47)
