The hotly anticipated third audiobook in the best-selling Bone Season series - a groundbreaking dystopian fantasy of extraordinary imagination.
Following a bloody battle against foes on every side, Paige Mahoney has risen to the dangerous position of Underqueen, ruling over London's criminal population.
But having turned her back on Jaxon Hall, and with vengeful enemies still at large, the task of stabilising the fractured underworld has never seemed so challenging.
Little does Paige know that her reign may be cut short by the introduction of Senshield, a deadly technology that spells doom for the clairvoyant community and the world as they know it.

Why the change in narration style???
I was on the edge of my seat excited for the third book narrated by Alana Kerr. I have fallen in LOVE with her voice as The Voice for Paige Mahoney and when the narration style switched completely it made me feel as though I paid for false advertisement. I assume that SOMEONE out there instructed Alana to change how this book was narrated but it is completely unsatisfactory in the build up that I have been waiting for.
What happened!?
I absolutely love this series BUT what happened to the narrator?? Kerr's narration is way different than the last few books-- it made it very difficult to get through the book. Hopefully they fix this for the next books.
Can't even listen to it
Any additional comments?
I loved Alana Kerr Collin's voice and reading style for the first two books, but this one has her sounding like Captain Kirk or an 8th grader reading Beowulf. I can't get past chapter 2. This book will be returned and guess I'll have to buy a hard copy. So disappointed as I had really looked forward to another great story to have on Audible.
What happened to the narrator?!?!
The narration in the first books is wonderful - I enjoyed it so much. What a disappointment when I started listening to this one - the narration style has completely changed. It's almost unlistenable. Seriously, I am missing the original Paige voice :( the infection, tone, and cadence are totally off and strange in this book.
I wish they would re record!!!!!
Can not listen to this
Narration makes this unlistenable. Tried my best to ignore stilted and forced narration but sadly, I will be finishing last half of book as a Kindle ebook.
