On June 8, 1967, the USS Liberty was attacked by Israeli forces. During the attack 34 American men lost their lives and 174 were injured, some of those near death. Many of those who survived have told their story of how their own government left them to be murdered on the high seas by Israeli forces in what they believe to be a false flag operation to draw the united States into the Six Day War.
