Grunge music took over the world in the early 90s. No band or album was bigger than 1991's Nirvana: Nevermind. on the exact same day this album was released, Soundgarden released Badmotorfinger. This was the band's third album, and the one that really put them on the map. In this episode, we put these albums against each other as well as, dive deep into the grunge culture, and the sad end to a genre. Every major grunge band's lead singer either died by suicide or drug overdose, with the exception of Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

In the mid-70's, two artists who were struggling to sell records, released double live albums. It was a giant risk. KISS had already released 3 albums, none of which saw any commercial success. Peter Frampton had released 4 albums with nearly zero commercial success. What these two artists had in common was a fantastic live show. KISS Alive! and Frampton Comes Alive! captured what they couldn't capture on a studio album. These projects, became each artist's best selling albums of their careers, selling multiple millions of copies world wide.
