Is quitting your day job really the gold standard for proving your success as a business owner? I'm gonna go against the grain and talk about reasons why you SHOULD quit your 9-5 versus reasons why you should NOT quit your day job.

This is a topic that we really need to be more transparent about because having a 9-5 or a supporting job, a part-time job, or another income stream outside of your business is NOT a bad thing, and it doesn't make you less of a business owner. It most certainly doesn't make you less successful as an entrepreneur. 

Putting all the pressure on yourself to quit can sometimes cause more harm for your mental health and for your business than it is causing you to move forward.

Do you ever have moments when you get really good news or accomplish something really big, and then the next thing you know, you are picking a fight with your partner?
