This episode features a conversation I had with my TEDx mentor, Ken Harvey of the Sno-Isle Libraries on their Check It Out Podcast. I shared about my experiences of becoming a first time author and first time TEDx speaker, as well as the process of writing my memoir: Evolving Through Adversity, starting from scratch as a war refugee in North America, and stepping on the red TEDx stage to give a talk on race and culture identity titled: We Are Not All that Different.
Toward the end of the episode, I answer Ken's questions sent by podcast listeners on healing pain and achieving one's dream, as well as give my take on funding public libraries with taxpayers money. Enjoy and share!
