Self absorbed, pampered, entitled, lazy.  Wow!  What a way to introduce a new episode. When you search “millennials” these are just a few of the descriptive words that appear.  But are they accurate?  Are millennials spoiled and pampered?

 

In this episode, we take a look at this generation of “new” adults (some are just starting out; others have been “adulting” for a while), and examine whether they are misguided or simply misunderstood.  Plus, we have a special guest in the studio.

Our girl Tamron Hall got married, ya’ll . . .to a white man and some brothers are U-P-S-E-T.  We are chatting about this issue around the table again, family. Keith says Mo is dishing up hypocrisy; Mo says Keith is dishing up hate.  You all decide.  This episode is definitely one you do NOT want to miss.

Wedding vows. Do we really mean them? B. Smith’s husband Dan Gasby’s controversial decision to openly date another woman has some of us thinking and others all in our feelings. In this episode of the Soul Purpose Show, we are discussing marriage vows, unpacking their meaning and determining whether for better or worse really means for better or worse.

 

Blackface?  The N-word?  Are we REALLY having to STILL discuss things our brothers and sisters of the lighter hue should and should not do?  In 2019?  Since 39% of Americans believe  Blackface is the thing to do, it looks like we do.  So, in an effort to educate and enlighten (and prevent our Caucasian friends from getting knocked tf out), we are providing the first of many “Five Tips 4 Our White Friends.”  Take notes, meditate on these tips and if you still have questions, call US first.  We are trying to make the world a better place – one tip at a time.
