Jungian-based Psychotherapist & Graduate Instructor Dr. Maureen Murdock is one my HEROINES! 30 years ago this month, her book, "The Heroine's Journey: Woman's Quest for Wholeness" was released. It is an amazing work that I dove into years ago in my own quest for revealing and receiving The Feminine. I was able to learn from her in person last year through a course at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. I have to say, this is one of my favorite episodes to date!! She writes, "The task of today's heroine as we approach the millennium is to mine the gold and silver within herself. She must develop a positive relationship with her inner Man with Heart and find the voice of her Woman of Wisdom to heal her estrangement from the sacred feminine. As she honors her body and soul as well as her mind, she heals the split within herself and the culture."
