Her work has not only changed her personally, it’s changed her family and her community. Dawn was one of our first listeners and has worked with us in multiple capacities over the years and it was an absolute honor to speak with her.

Dawn Boutilier was born and raised in Amherst, Nova Scotia, on May 28, 1982. She is a proud wife to Terry Boutilier and mother to two boys, Brody and Colby, who are at the heart of everything she does.
She is a dedicated educator with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and recognize their own strengths. Her commitment to education has led her to earn two Master’s degrees, reflecting her belief that learning is a lifelong journey.
Dawn also has a strong creative and entrepreneurial side. She is the author of a recent book and the owner of a local farm stand, where she combines her love of baking, gardening, creating, and bringing people together. She enjoys country living and finding new ways to make use of the land and resources around her.
Community is essential to Dawn. She's invested in supporting youth, helping organize activities, volunteering, creating something for others, and constantly getting involved in new projects. She is happiest when she is making a positive contribution to the people around her.
Dawn wears many hats—wife, mother, teacher, lifelong learner, entrepreneur, creator, and community supporter—but family remains at the centre of them all. She believes in working hard, continuing to learn, helping others, and creating a meaningful life close to home.
